Axis deer are an exotic deer imported into the United States from Africa. Unlike the Whitetail deer who breed in the fall, Axis deer breed year round. The hunting season for Axis deer is also year round as well.

Axis deer are not born with spots, but instead develop spots by the time they are one year old, opposite of the whitetail who are born with spots and then outgrow their spots.

The price of an Axis hunt coupled with a whitetail hunt is an additional $600.00.

Axis hunts alone are $700.00 for any size buck or doe.

The package price per hunter includes a two night stay at the Ranch and four hunts, one each morning and one each evening.

We have found it challenging to photograph the Axis deer as they are much more alert and nervous than the Whitetail deer; but we have included some of our photos of the Axis deer below.
